Water Wonders!

My friend was holding up her glass of water and I noticed that what I saw through the glass was the opposite of what she was really doing. The optical illusion was an inverted view. I just thought this was so interesting and something I have never noticed! Happy Day!

Excess during dinner

I eat in the cafeteria with a group of friends every day and no matter how many napkins we use there are always too many napkins overflowing in the basket. I guess that they think there will be someone that feels the need to use every single napkin they can get their hands on. Or the crew just dont want to have to reload the baskets every time there's a group coming in.

Glowing light on a building

I was driving down Main street downtown this weekend, and was stopped at a light. I noticed light reflected off of windows onto the side of a building. The picture honestly doesn't do it justice because in person it looked so cool. The light made the building look like parts of it were glowing, and it was a warm glow (warmer than what you can see in the picture). One thing I didn't notice until I looked at the image on the computer was the reflection of the windows in the windows. They look all twisted and distorted which I found fascinating. I would classify this maybe in the 'oddity' category, because of the funky shape the light reflects in as well as the distorted window reflections.

Bubbles

I have always had a fish tank and never really paid any attention to the motion of the water or the air bubbles the filter creates until today, the motion of the water and how it reacts to some kind of force creates these tiny bubbles and how the shimmer in the water.

Light Patterns

I was just sitting at my friends house watching tv when I looked over and noticed the really unique patterns that this light left on the ceiling. The pattern just really caught my eye and made me look at it for a while so I capture the right angle for the picture. I just really like the random way that the light and the shadow connect.

Dinner in Cafe

When I saw the silverware my first thought was order because of how each place on the row has its own name tag, then I also thought of excess because of the extra forks and spoons bulging out of their cups. I see this same setup everyday when I go to the cafe, but when I take the time to actually think of what category it may fit in, it all seems to make sense.
